Bjurkärr naturreservat: The nature reserve in Bjurkärr have many visitors. It is to be found on a peninsula in the middle of the lake Åsnen, and most of it is covered with beech woods. The oldest trees are about 250 years old. In the beech wood there are about 100 so called "Karolinerekar". These are, according to the legend, oaks that the king Karl XII´s soldiers brought home and planted during the 18:th century. Read more>>

The Trollmountain - The land of legends: Here, trolls have been seen partying and dancing. Near the montain, a dragon has been observed. In one of the mountain's corridors there appears to be a massive iron door behind which there is said to be a marvelloues hall containing gold and silver.

Agnäs naturreservat: är ett område invid Åsnen som, trots en relativ liten yta, kan erbjuda många skilda biotoper som tillsammans hyser ett stort antal arter växter och djur. Sjön medtillhörande stränder, lövskog av varierande karaktär och ålder, samt inägomarker av hagtyp ger sammantaget ett varierat och innehållsrikt naturutbud.

 E58 Swing bridge south of Ulvö Station: The unique bridge was manufactured in Belgium during the second half of the 19th century and was built in 1873 in its current position. It was pivoting in order to allow the steamboat traffic to pass through, the traffic that was at times of cosiderable proportions on Lake Åsnen.

Husebymaden: At the southern part of the marsh a parking place has been built. There is also an information centre and a look-out tower from which you get a good view over the marsh and the birds there. The first floor of the look-out tower is also available for disabled persons. Sunday mornings from April to Oktober, the tower is manned with an ornitologist that can answer your questions.

Here you can find everything that made a village selfsufficient and different kinds of indutries, like an iron foundry, sawmill, dairy, mill, shop, forge and a station for water power. These buildings have been restored to their original condition and contains several museums such as mill-, sawmill-, electric power-, foundry-, farm labourers museum and "Naturum Kronoberg".
