The blast furnace.

The time of iron works at Åryd lasted until 1885. The iron ore was collected in lakes nearby during the winter. The foundry then changed its concentration and became a modern sawmill 1903, and in the 50´s it was rebuilt to an industry that manufactured particle boards.

The house with the bellows and schöns cottage.

A very interesting place to visit if you are interested in industrial memories. The construction is well preserved and it is maintained by the  local history society, who also arranges tours.
