It is 50 meter to the lake with bathing area. 150 meter to a small boat harbour. Nearby is a bicycle and walking path on a deserted railway bank that runs over the islands of lake Åsnen. .
The house is situated at the lakeside of an old village, built round the former railway station. Here you can fish, paddle a canoe or just relax. Ramnaberget with surroundings is a large hill district, lovely for walking-tours. Open country, meadows, forest. A typical Astrid Lindgren landscape.
Groundfloor: Lounge with a fantastic view over the lake, also from the 15 square meter terrace in front of it, with outdoor furniture (see picture). Open fire place, Scandinavian furniture, sat-TV, audio set. Pantry with dining area. Pantry with electric stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee- machine, toaster and porcelain etc. The pantry is fully equipped. Bedroom with 2 beds, a wall to wall carpet. Modern tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and floor heating.
Second floor: Lounge with a fantastic view over the lake, also from the balcony. Here is a fire place, furniture in Scandinavian stile with antiquities, sat TV, radio, bedsettee for two people. Pantry with dining-place. Bedroom with 2 beds and a wall to wall carpet. Modern tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and floor heating. Pantry with two electric plates, fridge, freezer, coffee-machine, toaster. The pantry is fully equipped.

Surroundings and local service Surroundings: Shop with petrol station , Restaurant, Café in Torne 8 km. Växjö with Supermarkets, Theater, Movies, Tennis, Golf, Hospital and Airport 45 km. Alvesta Railway Station with the fast train X2000 Stockholm- Malmö/Copenhagen or from Gothenborg - Kalmar. Tingsryd with Supermarket, Adventure bath (indoor pool), horse carriages etc etc 35 km. Sea fishing at the Baltic sea 60 km Salmon fishing in river Mörrum in Mörrum 45 km. Several golf courts nearby..

Electricity- water (Meter check before leaving) and firewood are not included in price. The prices are valid for the times mentioned above. From 23.rd of December to 06:th of January, Good Friday and Easter, regular prices will be requested. Because the house is mostly occupied by the owners family, but not all the time as for an example the days before and after New Year and Easter. Therefore.... just call and ask. HOW TO GET THERE? The following detailed description (roadmap) is mainly for visitors coming by car from or via GERMANY OR DENMARK (Copenhagen). Arriving from other places i.e. via GOTHENBURG, HALMSTAD, VARBERG, KARLSHAMN, ESBJERG, STOCKHOLM etc., please call for assistance. By car: From Travemünde or Rostock-Warnemünde to Trelleborg (TT Line) towards Lund, road 108 towards Kalmar / Växjö - on road E22/23 at Gottåsa go right on road 126 direction Ryd. in Lönashult take the second road on your left side, drive 8 km to Hulevik. or Puttgarden / Rödby (ferry) or Flensburg /Odense (bridge), through Helsingör / Helsingborg E4 to Åstorp road 21 to Hässleholm take road 23 (see above) or from Puttgarden / Rödby via Copenhagen, crossing Öresund on the new bridge, Malmö road E20 / E22 / 23 (see above) By Train: To/From Copenhagen to Malmö, via Hässleholm to ALVESTA We will be happy to help you with the best connection.
