Description of the house

A small cottage with room for two people at Lake Mien southern shore.

The cottage, built in 2003, is beautifully situated on a hill with spectacular views.

The private sandybeach is only 50m from the house.

A rowingboat or a canoe is included in the price.

It is an open plan with a room with a small kitchenette, a bunkbed and a sofa bed for two persons.

A bathroom with shower and toilet.

Outside there is an open area with outdoor furniture for glorious moments.

The cottage is 60m close to the owners house, but its very private.

In the forests you may see mooses, deers and other animals. When the season is in you can pick blueberrys, lingonberrys and wild mushrooms. If you like to go fishing in Mien you need a fishing card which can be bought in Urshult or Tingsryd at the turist information or at the nearest shop, 4 km.  The type of fish you can catch are perch, pike, pike-perch, Freshwater Brown Trout and other fish sorts. In the surroundings there are walkingtrails and bicycletrails. A public bathingplace with a sandy beach closeby at about 400m

Mien is a large lake in the south of Småland, about 20 km2. Mien is almost round as a circle and is build after a meteorite hit the earth about 120 miljoner years ago. In the middel of the lake is an island called Ramsö. (link to www.miensfvo.se).

Museum in Växjö 70 km.

Public Sandy beach (Midingsbråte) and kiosk 400m.
