Linneryds local museum
The
church stables, with stalls for over 200 horses, were built in the 1860's and
were owned by local farmers who also keptthem in good repair.
The parish hall were built at the same time and contained a community hall,
school rooms and living accomodation for the teatcher and janitor. In the early
1920's the condition of the stables began to deteriorate through lack of use. in
2000 the village heritage society recieved holding rights for the buildings in
order to establish a museum in them. Costs for the project were covered in part
by private sponsorship, in part by public monies whitch amount to approximately
3 millions SEK.
More sights you will find here and on the map here the local museum has the mark E20.
