Linneryds church

is built year 1797 and 1798. Before this was a church built 1304. The middle age christening font and crucifix are from this old church.The boat hanging is a gift from a sailor who was saved from drowning.The altar painting "Bespisningsundret" ( Feeding of the five thousand) painted 1827. by Salomon Andersson. Three icons painted by Ann-Sofi Agnhage-Olsson år 2000.Near to the christening font is a glass work called "Livets källa" (The spring of life) made 1998 by Roger Simonsson.  

Linneryds parish have since 1980 had TV broadcasts of church service to the old age pensioners residense Lindegården. Information when church services etc   tel. +46 (0)477 600 46 or  +46 (0)470 341 65.
